After Marrakesh, we traveled by car through the mountains and finally the desert. It took us almost four hours completely off-road to reach the camp. Once we arrived, the camp was wonderful and completely in contrast to Marrakesh. Solitude. The dunes were incredible and the stars more so. The nights were amazing. The camp had a Brit-expat, turn-of-the-century feel. Dining with travelers from all over the world in a common tent. All very implausible given the location and environment. A perfect break. We spent two nights and a solid day in the desert. Just chillin’. Four hours in meant four hours out, and then we worked our way back to Marrakesh.
